As Managing Partner of Bernards Appraisal Associates, Mr. White oversees and manages all marketing communications and sales efforts for the company. He brings a wealth of expertise to this role having had 20+ years of experience serving the sales development, marketing, creative and operational needs of major publishing companies, including Dow Jones and Company, The New York Times magazine group and American Express.

John also contributes to the knowledge-base of the appraisers in the organization having received an education in art (BA, University of New Hampshire) and masters in design (MS, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY), as well as having won numerous awards in graphic design from The American Institute of Graphic Arts, Art Direction Magazine, Print Magazine and the Association of Graphic Arts among others.

As a classic car appraiser and enthusiast, John has published articles on the subject and continues work on his 356 Porsche in his free time.

He continues his education in appraisal studies, having been USPAP certified in March of 2004 - and is now working towards receiving his Certificate for Appraisal Studies from New York University.
